The Boiling Pot Rockport was established in 1985 by Dot LeBlanc. She and her son Mike, ran a fish house that sold oysters and fresh shrimp. Dot thought it would be something to open up a restaurant. She started out just wanting to provide fresh cooked seafood for her friends and family and the business took off! Over the years, everything has remained the same. Dot loved the restaurant, it was her heart and soul.
When Dot passed away several years ago, Mike and his wife Ramona stepped in to keep things going and have continued to provide the same service, fun and fresh seafood with the same recipes!
